Google warned its users to quickly update Chrome to avoid the hacking risk

Google notified its users to install a security update in the Chrome browser to avoid the hacking risk and for safety measures. There is a serious bug that can be actively exploited by hackers.

The company also said that it is a security patch for the Google chrome users in the window Linux and Mac operating systems which will roll out in the next coming days and weeks. Access to buy details and links may be kept restricted until a majority of users are updated with a fix. These are the lines of Google in the security update. It also added that we will also retain restrictions if the bug exists in a third-party library that the other projects similarly depend on but haven’t yet fixed.

This is the sixth zero-day vulnerability that Chrome has faced this year. Now Chrome has to relaunch its browser to activate the latest security update. The last update made by Chrome was on August 30th, just after Google released Chrome version 105.
